29th January - Ayk Sargsyan, a representative of the ruling party 'Civil Contract' of the Armenian Nation Assembly brought a lawsuit against the LLC 'Editorial Board of the Zhogovurd Newspaper' in the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction, demanding that they refute claims that he believes to be slanderous, and to pay 1 million dirhams (more than $2,500) as compensation for slander , as well as 500,000 dirham (more than $1,250) to cover his legal fees.
