10th of January - Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Armen Pambukhchyan brought a lawsuit against LLC 'Editorial Board of the Zhogovurd Newspaper' in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, demanding that they refute information which he considers slanderous, and pay monetary compensation. The reason for the suit is a 10th of December 2024 article, which states that Armen Pambukhchyan 'has serious problems within his team, and that this was discussed during a board meeting of ruling party 'Civil Contract'. The article also claims that 'corrupt business dealings have been uncovered which he was party to.' The suit is under consideration.
