28th of February, Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction - Chairman of the Investigatory Committee of Armenia Arthur Pogosyan brought a lawsuit against the LLC representing the Editorial Board of the Zhoghovurd Newspaper, demanding refutation of allegedly slanderous statements, and the payment of compensation for harm done to the plaintiff's honour and dignity. The reason behind the lawsuit is a 13th of February article, published on Armlur.am, which claims that Pogosyan appointed his cousin to a post within the IC. Later, the editors added the plaintiff's comments rebutting this, but kept the headline which asserts that Pogosyan did indeed appoint his cousin, which Pogosyan considers slanderous. The suit is under consideration.
