On April 13, deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Sargsyan filed a lawsuit against the founder of the Newspress.am news website Armenuhi Hovsepyan demanding compensation for damage caused to honour, dignity, and reputation. The reason for the lawsuit was the insulting and defamatory, according to the plaintiff, statements of Hovsepyan via Facebook Live. The lawsuit proceedings were initiated, and the trial was started.
