The Second Western District Military Court of Moscow sentenced Armen Aramyan, co-founder of the student publication DOXA, in absentia to 10 years and one month in prison on charges of justifying terrorism and spreading “fake news” about the Russian army. The charges were based on DOXA publications, including a map of the killings of civilians in Bucha and an article titled “The time for protest is over, the time for resistance has come.” Aramyan was placed on an international wanted list and added to the list of persons involved in terrorism and extremism.
