Armen Aramyan and many of his colleagues from the independent media were subjected to a massive spam attack on their cell phones. They began receiving numerous calls and text messages with registration confirmation codes for various services, including Gosusulgi, banks, and stores. Presumably, this was an attempt to hack into accounts. Journalists of TV Rain, Echo of Moscow, Bumaga, Mediazona, 7x7, The Village, and Republic, among others, reported such attacks.
