Citizen Samvel Hayrapetyan filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against political scientist Mariam Hovsepyan, residing in Russia, and Armdaily News Agency LLC with demands to refute the information contained in the interview given by the defendant to the news website Armdaily.am on November 4, 2021, to publish the refutation, and to pay compensation for moral damage in the amount of AMD 1 million. The reason for the lawsuit was Mariam Hovsepyan’s statement that programmer Samvel Hayrapetyan fulfils certain orders through fake websites, spreading disinformation, and provoking interethnic discord. The lawsuit is in the process of consideration.
