Arden Arkman, the cameraman of TV Rain, was detained in the district of the Belgorod Region bordering Ukraine. He was filming a report about life in the region after the outbreak of war. Arkman was turned in to the police by Yevgeny Bakalo, head of the Belgorod association Tenth Circle, which delivers food and clothes to refugees from Ukraine. Bakalo promised to take Arkman to a border village. After he was detained, the cameraman was held for several hours at a border checkpoint and demanded to erase all the footage.
