The Specialised Interdistrict Court for Administrative Offences in Aktobe considered the case of journalist Ardak Yerubayeva on charges of libel. The proceedings were initiated by the director of the Irgiz district gymnasium in the Aktobe region, who believes that the journalist spread libel in her Instagram posts, linking the dismissal of the gymnasium technician with complaints to the Akim of the region during his visit to the gymnasium. On February 7, the court found Yerubayeva not guilty of libel and terminated administrative proceedings for lack of corpus delicti in her actions.
