Member of the mayor’s office of Samtredia and supporters of the governing party Georgian Dream attacked the correspondent of the TV channel Formula Pkhakadze Eka (Ekaterina) and cameraman Archil Gabrichidze. Journalists wanted to interview people standing outside the office, but in response were physically attacked and verbally abused. Pkhakadze was pushed away, while Gabrichidze was beaten on the back and legs to prevent him from filming.
