On May 31, citizen Eric Yeghinyan filed a lawsuit with the Lori Regional Court of General Jurisdiction (Stepanavan City Chancery) against TV company Ararat and Anna Sirunyan, demanding refutation of the information considered libel and payment of compensation for infringement of honour, dignity, and business reputation. The reason for the lawsuit was the thoughts voiced on the air of the TV company that the plaintiff used violence against Sirunyan and organised the sale of her flat through fraud. According to Yeghinyan, the journalist did not listen to his opinion and published defamatory information. The lawsuit is being considered.
