The journalist Anvar Mustafakulov was trying to get information about the reason for overpricing tickets to Russia for migrant workers. As a result, the journalist was threatened with death, physically assaulted, insulted and forced to turn off his smartphone. The difference between airline and company prices is almost 50%. The tickets were sold by a limited liability company, which until 2017 had a medical centre status, and now its main activity is the hotel business. The law enforcement authorities opened an investigation after Mustafakulov’s statement.
