Tajik journalist Anushervon Aripov said that he and several other Tajik citizens were unable to enter Georgia on March 26. Aripov said that he, his wife, and two young children wanted to travel across Georgia but got stuck at the Dari international border crossing. He was forced to return to Vladikavkaz in Russia. Anushervon also said that in three and a half hours, he witnessed eight Tajik citizens being prevented from entering Georgia. According to Aripov, the reasons for the denial of entry were not fully explained. «We were given a piece of paper on which the decision to deny entry to Georgia was written. There was a different excuse for each of us. It was written for me that as if I could not explain why I came to Georgia, although I said it was tourism. It was also written that I did not have Georgian medical insurance», — the journalist added.
