The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus has added blogger Anton Motolko to the “list of persons involved in extremist activities”. He had previously been sentenced in absentia to 20 years in prison, a large fine, and confiscation of property under 13 articles of the Belarusian Criminal Code on politically motivated charges. Motolko is the founder of the information projects "MotolkoPomogi" (an information portal on events in Belarus) and Belarusian Hajun (monitoring and reporting on military activity in Belarus).
