Anton Lymar was interrogated by investigators, who took a non-disclosure undertaking from him. He was then released together with other colleagues — Asel Otorbayeva, the media director general, and Makhinur Niyazova, the second chief editor. The day before, State Committee for National Security officers arrived at the editorial office, searched and seized documents, equipment, personal phones and sealed the office. The lawyers were not allowed to attend the search. The report of the seized property and the reason for sealing the office were not presented. The State Committee for National Security reported that the search at 24.kg was conducted in a criminal case under the article «Propaganda of War» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
