The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has added Anna Zueva, a journalist from Buryatia, to the register of «foreign agents». According to the Ministry of Justice, she spread fakes about the policy of the Russian authorities and opposed the invasion of Ukraine. In addition, she is involved in the work of a «foreign agent» organisation (the Free Buryatia Foundation). Zueva is a former journalist for state television who quit due to censorship in 2019. On her YouTube channel, she released an interview with military personnel from Buryatia who are in Ukrainian captivity. Zueva attributes her foreign agent status to these publications.
