Lyublinsky District Court fined Vasilyeva RUB 10,000 under Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules for participation in a public event) for an action of solidarity with former journalist Ivan Safronov, accused of treason. Vasilieva, along with other journalists, was detained on July 13 near the Lefortovo pre-trial detention centre, where Safronov is being held.
