Dorogomilovsky District Court fined journalist Anna Nikolaeva RUB 10,000 under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences (participation in a public assembly creating an obstruction to traffic). The correspondent was detained on December 27 at the action against cutting the apple orchard on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. Together with five activists, Nikolaeva was held for two days at the police station, even though she has children under the age of 14.
