The Presnensky District Court in Moscow has arrested in absentia the TV Dozhd (TV Rain) journalist Anna Mongayt on charges of disseminating “false information” about the Russian army (clause “d,” part 2, Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). The case was launched on July 18 over posts she made on her Telegram channel in April 2022 and July 2023 regarding Russian strikes on Odesa. On August 6, Mongayt was added to the international wanted list.
