The Uglegorsk City Court of Sakhalin gave Anna Bilega two years of suspended sentence in the case of repeated «discrediting» of the army (Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The first sentence, also suspended, was handed down on October 6, 2023. Bilega was also given two years of probation with a ban on administering websites and social media pages. The criminal cases were opened for a message in a WhatsApp group and a comment in the Odnoklassniki social network.
