A criminal case was opened against streamer Anna Bazhutova under the article on spreading «fakes» about the Russian army (Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). On August 16, 2023, she was sent to a pre-trial detention centre. Bazhutova mainly published entertainment content, but in June 2023 she dedicated several streamings to war crimes of the Russian army in Bucha near Kyiv. Bazhutova read out stories from residents of the town, reported that Russian soldiers had killed 300 people in Bucha, and spoke harshly about «Russian occupiers.»
