The vice speaker of the National Council of Armenia Alen Simonyan filed a lawsuit against the founder of Analitik.am Ani Ovannisyan demanding a compensation. The lawsuit was filed because of the article that claimed that the referendum on Armenian Constitution was used by authorities for ratification of the Istanbul convention. Since the statement was attributed to Ani Ovannisyan, he denied it, claiming that the website presented their assumption as a fact. The website retracted the article but the legal proceedings have already begun.
