During the pre-election meeting of the leader of the Civil Contract political party, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with the voters, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Civil Contract political party candidate for deputies Alain Simonyan interfered into the conversation of Ani Gevorkyan with one of the participants and obstructed her activities, entering an unethical dispute and urging event participants to ignore the journalist and not answer her questions. The politician advised Gevorgyan to leave the meeting, saying "Leave the territory, please. You provoke people."
