On 26 October, at the Hovhannavank Monastery complex, the professional activity of Ani Gevorgyan, editor of the news website NewDay, was obstructed. During a conflict between residents of the nearby village of Ohanavan and media representatives who had arrived to cover a liturgy attended by the Prime Minister of Armenia, one of the parishioners pushed the journalist several times, attempting to prevent her from moving. Ani Gevorgyan reported the incident to nearby police officers during her live broadcast.
