On May 25, in the school of the Baganis village of the Tavush Region, where Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan was supposed to meet with residents to discuss sensitive issues arising during the delimitation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, security officers demanded that the editor of the news website NewDay.am Ani Gevorgyan, leave the building. When she refused to fulfil this demand, she was dragged out by force and removed from the sote of the event. According to the journalist, by these actions, the Prime Minister’s guards prevented possible questions she intended to address to the head of the government.
