9th January - Ayk Sargsyan, a representative of the ruling party 'Civil Contract' of the Armenian National Assembly brought a lawsuit against the founder and editor of Hayeli.am Angela Tovmasyan, demanding an apology for statements published on the site and that she pay compensation to the sum of 1 million dirhams (more than $2,500), as well as payment of legal fees amounting to 500 thousand dirham (more than $1,250). The reason for the suit was a youtube video on Hayeli's channel, titled 'How "rural farmhand" Nikola (Pashinyan - ed.) splashes his cash with 100,000 dirham notes', with matching statements regarding the representative.
