The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus included convicted journalist Andrzej Poczobut in the «list of citizens involved in extremist activities». In February 2023, the Hrodna Regional Court sentenced the journalist to 8 years of imprisonment in a reinforced regime colony. Andrzej Poczobut was found guilty of inciting hatred (Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) and calling for actions aimed at harming national security (Article 361 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
