The Zamoskvoretsky District Court in Moscow has received a criminal case against journalist and Dissernet co-founder Andrei Zayakin for allegedly financing an extremist organisation (Part 1 of Article 282.3 of the Criminal Code). In 2022, Zayakin was detained on suspicion of providing financial support to the Anti-Corruption Foundation. He later left Russia and was subsequently placed on the federal wanted list and added to the register of “terrorists and extremists.”
