The court of Pinsk district and Pinsk city fined freelance journalist Andrey Yakimush 30 basic amounts (BYN 870) for cooperation with a foreign media outlet without accreditation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The court found the journalist guilty of violating Part 3 of Article 23.5 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus (illegal production and distribution of media products). The reason was a video story on the TV channel Belsat.
