Journalists Larysa Shyrokava and Andrey Tolchyn received an administrative report for illegal dissemination of information in the media from the Central District Police Department of Gomel. On March 20, they recorded a short video interview about the quarantine caused by the coronavirus epidemic with the students of Francysk Skaryna Homiel State University. The video was used by the Belsat TV channel, which broadcasts from Poland. In recent years, the courts of the Gomel region have sentenced Tolchin to pay significant fines more than ten times and Shirokava – more than twenty times.
