The Central District Court of Khabarovsk arrested Andrey Solomakhin for seven days under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (participation in a public assembly creating an obstruction to traffic) for covering a protest rally on November 2. A protocol on disobedience to a police officer was also drawn up on him (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). Solomakhin was arrested on November 6 and left overnight at the police station. The next day he was fined RUB 10,000 and was arrested again at the court exit. The police beat him, strangled and threatened him, and did not give him food or drink for almost two days.
