Members of the commission of the polling station №20 in Kostanay demanded that Andrey Skiba, the journalist of Nasha Gazeta, not move around the polling station and not take photos or videos. The ban was motivated by the protection of the secrecy of voting and the protection of personal data. When a journalist asked to explain the meaning of the ban, if filming does not violate the confidentiality of the vote and personal data are not disclosed, the station chairman threatened to call security guards as if the journalist was disturbing the commission's work. The journalist was allowed to film the commission's work during the vote count from a distance of about 10 meters from the table.
