The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow ruled to dismiss the appeal of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty LLC and to uphold the rulings of a magistrate. The court rulings on bringing RFE/RL LLC (10 rulings) and its general director Andrey Shary (10 rulings) to administrative responsibility for the absence of the «foreign agent» marking in publications (Part 1 of Article 19.34.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation) distributed on the websites of 9 foreign agent media outlets came into force. The total amount of fines under these 20 rulings is RUB 5.5 million. RFE/RL and its general director are obliged to pay the fines within 60 days.
