Gagarinsky District Court of Sevastopol began to consider a new lawsuit of Elena Morozova, director of the Preserve of Tauric Chersonesos, about the protection of honor, dignity, and business reputation against the filmmaker and blogger Andrey Maslov. Previously, this court already considered a similar lawsuit, which was denied. Morozova's first lawsuit for protection of honor, dignity, and business reputation was filed in December 2020. The reason was the publications in a social network of Maslov where he criticized the transformations on the territory of Chersonesos – building an iron opera stage on the archaeological site, laying wooden paths over the historical heritage objects, holding closed opera festivals at the excavations, administrative ban on swimming in the sea area, limiting cultural events, the abundance of road installations with statements by Vladimir Putin and philosophers. The second lawsuit was filed without claims for monetary compensation.
