It became known that a criminal case was opened against the freelance journalist of Radio Svaboda Andrey Kuznechyk and he was transferred from the temporary detention centre on Akrestsina to the pre-trial detention centre № 1 in Minsk. The law enforcers informed Andrey’s relatives about it. It’s unknown on the basis of which article of the Criminal Code the case was initiated. Kuznechyk was detained on November 25, since then he’s been held behind bars. On November 26, he was arrested for 10 days under the administrative article, and on December 5 — arrested again for 10 days, allegedly for petty hooliganism. The journalist was not released at the end of this term, and it was unknown until today for what reason he is being held in custody.
