The police opened a criminal case against the head of the Journalism Ethics Commission Ethics, Andrey Kulikov, based on a statement from the editor-in-chief of the news agency “Journalists Against Corruption” and the head of the State Union of Independent Journalists of Ukraine Sergei Kot. Kulikov was accused under articles 171 (“obstruction of the professional activities of journalists”), 206 (“countering legitimate economic activity”) and 355 (“coercion or failure to fulfil civil obligations”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
