The First Western District Military Court in St Petersburg is hearing a criminal case against Andrey Kripushin, a resident of St Petersburg, and Vladimir Mikheev, from Chelyabinsk, on charges of inciting terrorism under Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code. Both are administrators of the Telegram channel "Ovod". According to investigators, in 2022 they reposted four publications in the channel’s chat that allegedly contained calls for terrorism. Kripushin and Mikheev were detained in January 2024. Mikheev remains in custody, while Kripushin has been placed under restrictions on certain activities. At the time of his detention, Kripushin was a minor.
