Arkhangelsk-based activist and RusNews journalist Andrey Kichyov has been expelled from the technical school after being served a summons. The director of the S.N. Oreshkov Waterways Technical School, where Kichyov studied, argued that the student was expelled because he had not attended classes «Talks about important things». At the same time, the director had earlier signed an appeal by Kichyov who requested that he be excused from attending these classes on the basis of the Federal Law «On Education». Later, the principal retracted his words, as human rights defender Ilya Leshukov told Sota.
