The criminal case of blogger Andrey Filippov, accused of spreading «fakes» about the army (Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), was transferred to the Yoshkar-Ola City Court in May. The case was initiated because of the video «War between Russia and Ukraine: a Ukrainian’s view», which Filippov published on his YouTube channel. Filippov has been in pre-trial detention center for almost a year, he is still banned from making calls and visits from close relatives.
