The Investigative Committee interviewed Bastunets, the head of the Belarusian Association of Journalists (BAJ), as a witness in a case relating to “calls for actions aimed at causing harm to the national security of the Republic of Belarus … committed online, or via the media” (Part 3 of Art. 361 of the Criminal Code). Bastunets signed a non-disclosure agreement, so cannot provide any further details. He said that the matter was not to do with the activities of the BAJ. The interrogation lasted around three hours.
