Journalist and media manager Andrey Alexandrov was detained under Article 342 of the Criminal Code (“Conspiring to grossly violate public order”). Alexandrov disappeared on 12 January; his relatives and colleagues did not know of his whereabouts for almost 24 hours. On 13 January, it turned out that the journalist was being held at the Oktyabrsky district police department. He was later transferred to a temporary detention centre, where he was held for at least 72 hours.
