The police detained Andrei Yakimush during the dispersal of people laying flowers near the improvised memorial of Raman Bandarenka. He was taken to the police department for identification, although the journalist provided his ID card. In the police department, he was photographed, filmed, and warned that he would be held administratively liable in case of his next detention. Yakimush was released two hours after the detention.
