Two episodes of the ANT TV programme “To Be Updated" have been aired, revealing searches and interrogations at the regional outlets Vecherniy Bobruisk, babruisk.info, Volnaje Hlybokaje, UzHorak, BAR24. The publications were accused of receiving money from the German Embassy for publishing promotional material that allegedly “glorifies the wonderful life in Germany”. The broadcast on 28 May shows searches at the newsrooms of Vecherniy Bobruisk and Volnaye Hlybokaye, as well as searches and interrogations involving editors-in-chief: Valiantsin Sysoi (Vecherny Bobruisk), Anatol Sanatsenka (babruisk.info), and Uladzimir Skrabatun (Volnaje Hlybokaje). The accountant of the newspaper UzHorak was also questioned. The 29 May report features the interrogation of a staff member from BAR24. It also shows a video recording of a meeting between employees of the German Embassy and the former editor-in-chief of Narodnaya Volya, Iosif Seredich.This indicates that they had been under surveillance.
