The Vitebsk Regional Court sentenced Anatol Matsulevich to 7.5 years in prison for administering the Telegram channel Polotsk Novopolotsk Country for Life Chat Freedom to Sergey Tikhanovsky. Matsulevich was convicted under three articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus: creation of an extremist formation (Part 1 of Article 361-1), incitement of hatred (Part 3 of Article 130), and training people to participate in mass riots (Part 3 of Article 293).
