Vot Tak TV journalist Anastasiya Demidas was detained while covering rallies in support of Alexey Navalny. A court in Moscow later arrested her for four days. The judge found her guilty of an offence under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (participation in an unauthorized rally). The court did not consider that Demidas was performing journalistic work and had an editorial assignment with her.
