In Prokhladny (Kabardino-Balkaria), law enforcement officers searched the home of blogger Anastasia Yemelyanova. Two laptops and a phone were confiscated from her. The formal reason was the criminal case of libel against the businesswoman Zhanna Makhova from Oryol. It follows from the search warrant at Yemelyanova’s place that an unknown person in Prokhladnoye distributed false information about the activities of businesswoman Zhanna Makhova in the Oryol region no later than September 2, 2021, thereby damaging her reputation. Yemelyanova herself connects the search with her criticism of the war in Ukraine and mobilization in Russia.
