Anastasia Metelskaya's apartment was searched – the police officers kicked down the door in the apartment where her 14-year-old daughter was at that moment. The search warrant lacked the judge's signature and seal. The police confiscated a computer, a phone, and documents without drawing up a seizure report. After the search, Metelskaya was taken to the police department, where a report was drawn up on her on disobedience to a lawful demand of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). On October 29, the Domodedovo City Court sent Metelskaya under house arrest on the criminal case of libel (Article 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The measure of restraint was chosen until November 30. On November 15, Metelskaya died in a COVID hospital. According to her relatives, the police prevented her from receiving timely medical treatment.
