The law enforcers detained the employees of the regional state radio station Homel Plus: editor Siarhei Krasnabarod, sound engineer Artsiom Vasilkou, radio presenters Anastasia Hrytsenka and Zhanna Minina. The latter is known for repeatedly creating propaganda materials, in which she fought against independent Belarusian media and called high-profile news fakes. As for the other detainees, they were not noticed in propaganda activities. On May 6, the Tsentralny District Court of Homel found them guilty of an offence under Part 2 Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (distribution of extremist materials), according to the charge — for subscribing to an «extremist» Telegram channel. The cases were considered by judges Siarhei Sakalouski, Viktar Kazachok, Siarhei Karmanovich, and Alesya Osipava. It is known that the judges sentenced Siarhei Krasnabarod and Anastasia Hrytsenka to 15 days of arrest each.
