Vot Tak TV journalist Anastasia Demidas was detained while covering rallies in support of Alexey Navalny. Later, the Moscow court arrested her for four days. It declared her guilty of an offence under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (participation in an unauthorised rally). The court did not take into account that Demidas was doing journalistic work and had an editorial assignment with her.
