On February 6, the acting head of the Department of Justice of Shymkent Nurzhan Makhambetov accused the editor-in-chief of the Temirkazyk-Oy newspaper Anar Suleeva of libel. The reason for this was her posts on Facebook. In March, the court found Suleeva innocent of libel and acquitted her due to the lack of corpus delicti.
